Hythem El-Nazer

Hythem El-Nazer is a Managing Director at TA and co-head of the Firm’s North America Technology Group, focusing on investments in enterprise software and technology-enabled companies. He is a member of TA’s Executive, Management, Core Investment and Portfolio Committees. Hythem currently serves on the Board of Directors of Advantive, Appfire, Aptean, CSI, Gamma Technologies, Idera, insightsoftware, Kinective, Lumivero, MRI Software, PDI, Revalize and Sovos. Prior to joining TA in 2004, Hythem worked in the U.S. and the Middle East offices of McKinsey & Company and in the Investment Banking Department of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York. He received a General Course degree from the London School of Economics, an AB in Economics from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Outside TA, Hythem is a Board Member of Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO), Brigham and Women’s Hospital Board of Overseers, Columbia University Business School’s Private Equity Advisory Board, Brown University’s President’s Leadership Council, and The Fessenden School. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund.
